Ghoulish fun

Today was a day of firsts for me! One of my good friends is in town for the weekend so I wanted to explore a part of Atlanta I've never been to before - Little 5 Points. Now, a local friend described this area of the city as "a bohemian hang out with food & shopping"...sounds pretty cool, right? Well, let me tell you...it was a hoot!

Unbeknownst to me, today was the 10th Annual Little 5 Points Halloween Festival & Parade...yup, you heard me! Not only was this my first time visiting this part of town, but it was also my first Halloween parade (since it is my least favorite holiday of the year). Even with all that in mind, I truly had one of the best days ever!!!

While Halloween is still not a holiday I enjoy, today was quite a blast...largely in part because it was spent with a great friend who enjoyed it even more that I did!
